CRS MEMBRANE FILTRATION PROJECTS

Membrane Filtration

Tertiary Treatment Facility - 1

Site:                N.S.W.

Completed:      1997

Capacity:          650kL/day

Services:          Detailed Design, Manufacture and Commissioning.

Special Features of the Tertiary Treatment Facility: CRS designed and supplied a tertiary treatment facility for medium density fibreboard plant, capable of processing secondary treated effluent to boiler feed quality, ie. Less than 80 mg/L TDS.

Project Description of the Tertiary Treatment Facility:
The design, manufacture and commissioning of this tertiary treatment facility was undertaken by CRS and incorporates two pass media filtration, followed by micron, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.

The installation was carried out by Dynamic Steel and Simon Carves under the supervision of CRS engineers.

Post final commissioning the plant met and is currently exceeding all performance requirements. This is the most advanced wastewater reclamation plant in Australia, treating timber processing plant wastewater to a quality that exceeds the requirements for drinking water.
