Special Features of the Microfiltration Plant: This Microfiltration Plant was designed to treat sewage effluent for irrigation of a vineyard on the southern outskirts of Sydney, NSW. Project Description of the Microfiltration Plant: The custom designed skid mounted microfiltration plant was manufactured in accordance with our client’s specification to produce clean, bacteria free water for irrigation use. The Microfiltration Plant incorporates eight Mitsubishi pressure modules which are automatically cleaned on a periodical basis. The Microfiltration Plant is designed to run 24 hours a day with approximately ½ hour down time per day for backwashing. The microfiltration plant receives influent water from a large private sewage treatment plant.
