The client was experiencing problems with their drying beds at their Toogoom STP due to excessive rainfall. They decided to use Geotube® dewatering containers to dewater their waste activated sludge once they learnt that rainfall does not permeate the bag and once the sludge is contained it only gets drier. The client purchased a liquid polymer makedown and dosing system from CRS and dosed the food line just prior to the Geotube® containers with splendid results.
