Geotube® Mobile Dewatering Systems (MDS) - Geotube® - MDS Sludge from a sewage treatment plant in the Victorian Alps is conditioned and pumped to this MDS comprising a Geotube® dewatering container housed within an industrial waste skip. The skip has a false floor and drainage ports to facilitate speedy dewatering. The filtrate is collected in a drain and is pumped back to the head of works. MDS units work in tandem providing final dewatering time for the sludge once the duty unit has been taken off-line. When the sludge has reached a predetermined solids level, the skip is removed and the sludge filled Geotube® dewatering container is deposited off site ready for disposal.
