Approximately 2.5ML of sludge was transferred from this aerobic sludge lagoon to the twin 90’ circumference Geotube® dewatering containers in the plastic bunded area.

The sludge was conditioned with ~ 125ppm of a mid strength charge cationic polymer before in-line mixing and dewatering within the Geotube® dewatering containers . Our automatic submerged sludge harvester optimised the volumes of sludge able to be transferred and through its remote controlled vertical pump winch, ensured that ludge was pumped at a constant solids percentage.

Sludge can be left in the Geotube® dewatering containers for varying amounts of time depending upon the target dry solids requirement.
