Site: Dhaka, Bangladesh Completed: 2002 Capacity: 240kL/day Special Features of the Skid Mounted Filtration Plant: Fully automatic filtration plant, mounted on 304SS skid. Project Description of the Skid Mounted Filtration Plant: Raw water is treated with potassium permanganate and a coagulant and mixed in a reaction vessel for removal of iron and manganese. The reacted influent stream is then filtered through a multi-media filter, using filtered water for backwashing. System control was undertaken using an Allen & Bradley MICROLOGICS 1000 PLC.
