Site :            NSW   Completed : 1996   Capacity :     100 kL/day         Services :     Design, Manufacture, Installation, Commissioning and Training.   Special Features of the Package Surface Water Treatment Plant :   Package surface water treatment plant with Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) dosing system for blue/green algae treatment.   Project Description of the Package Surface Water Treatment Plant:   CRS designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned this Package Surface Water Treatment Plant for treating dam water utilising all the processes normally used in large municipal treatment plants including chemical coagulation and flocculation, clarification, filtration and disinfection (chlorination).   The treated water quality conforms to the World Health Organisation’s recommended water quality standards for turbidity, colour and coliforms.   Units over 100 kL/day (1 L/sec) are manufactured in modular steel tank format for ease of transport and installation.
