Project Description:

An additional 500kL/day containerised plant was designed and built for WAWC to be added to the existing fleet of emergency response, mobile surface water treatment plants. These fully-automated plants utilise Norit Xiga UF membranes and include disc filters, feed and backwash pumps, turbidity monitors, membrane integrity testing, coagulant dosing, pH control, three chemically enhanced backwashes (CEB) and disinfection. The plant electrical panels include Koyo colour HMI touch screens, Allen Bradley VFDs and Koyo Direct Logic 405 PLC's. A section of the container was isolated and houses the four chemical tanks required along with the associated dosing pumps, bunding, ventilation, and emergency eye wash station.
