CRS DREDGING & DEWATERING PROJECTS

Dredging & Dewatering


CRS have acquired a new remote controlled cutter suction dredge to augment our turnkey sludge removal and dewatering division. The dredge propulsion is via variable speed winch on a traverse wire and coupled with an hydraulic cutter head and pump that can be raised and lowered it provides the ability to efficiently pump large quantities of material for dewatering or storage. The unit is innovative and robust in design and construction ensuring durability and ease of operation. Being remote controlled eliminates any OH&S issues with having personnel on the water. The dredge can easily be moved between projects by crane truck and comes complete with pipework, floats and mobile polymer dosing and mixing unit.

Lithgow City Council

CRS undertook to harvest, pump and dewater ~ 7,500m³ of anaerobic sewage sludge.
