The client wished to remove as much sludge as possible from a run off lagoon before decommissioning. A Geotube® dewatering container was set up in a bunded area above the lagoon so the bag filtrate could gravity back unassisted.
The CRS remote controlled dredge was anchored in four corners of the lagoon and proceeded to pump the ferric sulphate laden sludge to the Geotube® dewatering container.
