FRP aeration tower designed to treat a maximum flow rate of 5616 KL/day of bore water delivering potable water to NHMRC standards.
Project Description :
CRS was commissioned to design & manufacture a 1.5m diameter FRP aeration tower by Carathool Shire Council for their drinking water plant at Hillston, NSW.
The scope of work included supply of aeration tower (including materials), air fans and air measuring equipment.
The plant is currently meeting and exceeding all performance requirements, notably the reduction of carbon dioxide from 16 mg/L to less than 2 mg/L.
